Sinai was a momentous occasion for the Jewish people; it was the moment that the twelve tribes became a nation. The birth of the jewish people and the bequeathment of nationhood was not bound to time and place, but to a commitment to an ideal higher than the human instint and individual moral code. It was a a commitment to G-d and living a life beyond the physical. Each year on Shavuot, we have the opportunity to meditate on and celebrate what this means to us 3,000 + later. Join us in standing at our personal Sinai as we recommit to the founding premise of our nation; Na'ase V'Nishma.
